At the end of the pier leading out into lake Åsunden in Ulricehamn lies restaurant Lago. Lago is the Italian word for lake, and the name came naturally to us given our Italian roots.


At restaurant Lago we serve classic Scandinavian food with a modern touch inspired by Italy and France. Our chef is Christopher Lai, with several years of experience in gourmet cooking. Among other things, he has competed in “Årets Kock” and been involved in receiving a Bib Gourmand from Guide Michelin for affordable, high-quality food. Christopher is also listed on international charts along with several of the world's most reputable chefs.


Our vision with restaurant Lago is to offer a holistic experience for our guests. Good food, made from the highest quality ingredients, complemented by carefully selected wines forms the basis. The cozy environment combined with the unique location and the fantastic view is what completes the experience.


The menu and wine list are updated regularly, and the dishes are composed based on the available seasonal ingredients. Each visit thus becomes a new and unique experience for our guests. For guests who prefer to drink something other than wine, we offer exciting alternatives with something that suits most people.
